JOB TITLE: GRAPHIC DESIGNER with Experience of PRINTING+ PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE / A big plus knowing as much as possible for Production of all Design applications as well as Printing Guidelines to follow for Perfect Results.
Established New York Design & Packaging Company is searching for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Graphic Designer. The Graphic Designer will assist the Sales and Marketing teams, completing design for a wide range of

1. Designing Artwork for Custom Designs for Clients.
2. Taking Customer’s Designs and request and implementing them into pre set templates for print.
3. Saving Production files for Printing of all packaging Products.
4. Detailed oriented work and proper use of time.
5. Creating New graphics and designs for New Products
Must be familiar with all Media and Applications + PHOTOGRAPHY
This position is based in New York, NY
In Office and Remotely.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
DAY TO DAY Pre-Print Production
Social Media, Including Ads, Marketing collateral.
Production of a variety of print ads, email blasts, marketing collateral, internal documentation, print/web
Working with Sales and Marketing teams, must be able to develop original artwork, presentations and page layouts that adhere to the established corporate identity. Create, design and/or revise publication layouts and Web pages/graphics
Must be able to work independently on assignments in a deadline sensitive environment, as well as collaboratively with other staff and be a team player.
Looking with someone with Teaching experience as well as updating to the latest applications of software and new techniques. Individual who is able to act a project manager and Trainer for specific projects, identifying resources necessary to support the project, specify job details, and follow through until project is completed and delivered
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and 3- 5+ years design experience in packaging or retail design.
Teaching Degree or Certificate in Teaching Design/Production and Printing Skills with Preferably Teaching degree
Sketching and illustration skills required.
Sophisticated sense of typography, applied color, composition and visual hierarchy required.
Previous experience with still digital photography, styling and lighting.
Project Management skills/ Teaching and Mentoring – This involves managing time effectively, planning, organizing, and managing deliverable for each request/project. Use the most time efficient and qualitative techniques possible.. Must be able to find and research for all problems solving issues in Design and Printing.
Must be a creative thinker, pay attention to detail and have a sophisticated eye for style/design.
Expert knowledge of all relevant Adobe Creative Suite programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Acrobat) Flash knowledge a big plus.
Strong understanding of web development and design constraints/possibilities preferred (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Cross-browser considerations)
Previous experience in the B2B, tech, media or advertising world is a big plus
